Subscription Terms and Conditions

Annexure — Subscription Terms and Conditions
MedTech Career Student Subscription Programme with Free, Pro and Elite plans for recorded sessions, reference materials, assessments and interview resources.
These Terms, together with the plan schedule and the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between the Subscriber and MedTech Career in relation to the subscription. By activating or continuing a subscription, the Subscriber accepts these Terms.

1. Definitions

"Company" means MedTech Career. "Platform" means the Company's online learning platform and mobile or web applications. "Subscriber" means a student who has activated a Free, Pro or Elite plan. "Subscription Content" means recorded sessions, reference materials, assessments, interview resources and any other materials made available under a plan. "Plan" means the Free, Pro or Elite tier as described in the then-current plan schedule.

2. Eligibility

Subscriptions are available only to students who are currently enrolled in, or have completed, a course offered by the Company. The Company may verify enrolment at any time and may withdraw access where eligibility cannot be established. Subscribers must be at least 18 years of age, or must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms on their behalf.

3. Free Plan

The Free plan is granted automatically on course enrolment and continues for ninety (90) days after the Subscriber's course completion date, unless stated otherwise in the plan schedule. The Free plan is limited in scope, may be modified or withdrawn by the Company at any time, and confers no right to continued access after its stated period.

4. Subscription Term and Auto-Renewal

Paid plans are offered on a monthly or annual basis and renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price, unless cancelled before the renewal date in accordance with Clause 8. By subscribing, the Subscriber authorises the Company and its payment processor to charge the registered payment method on each renewal date.

5. Fees, Taxes and Payment

Fees are as published on the Platform at the time of subscribing and are exclusive of applicable taxes, which will be added at the prevailing rate. Payment is collected through a third-party payment processor; the Company does not store full payment-card details. The Subscriber is responsible for keeping payment details current. Where a payment fails, the Company may retry the charge and may suspend access until payment succeeds.

6. Price Changes

The Company may revise subscription prices. Any revision will take effect from the Subscriber's next renewal date and the Subscriber will be given at least thirty (30) days' written notice by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance; a Subscriber who does not accept a revised price may cancel before renewal.

7. Upgrades and Downgrades

A Subscriber may upgrade at any time, with the balance of the current period adjusted on a pro-rata basis. Downgrades take effect from the next billing period; no refund is payable for the unused portion of a higher tier following a voluntary downgrade.

8. Cancellation

A Subscriber may cancel at any time through account settings or by written request to medtechcareer64@gmail.com. Cancellation stops future renewals. Access continues until the end of the billing period already paid for, after which the account reverts to the Free plan if still eligible, or is closed.

9. Refund Policy

Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable once a billing period has commenced. Annual subscriptions may be refunded on a pro-rata basis for unused complete months if cancelled within 30 days of purchase, less any value of benefits already consumed, including book allowances, completed 1:1 sessions and mock interviews. No refund is payable where a subscription is terminated by the Company for breach under Clause 17.

10. Fair Use of Human Services

Career guidance calls, resume reviews and mock interviews included in any plan are subject to fair use and to the session limits stated in the plan schedule. Sessions must be booked in advance, are subject to trainer and counsellor availability, and unused sessions do not carry forward to a subsequent period.

11. Licence and Permitted Use

The Company grants the Subscriber a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to access Subscription Content for their own educational use for the duration of an active subscription. No ownership rights are transferred. Access is for one individual only.

12. Prohibited Use

The Subscriber shall not:

  • (a) share, sell, lend or transfer account credentials, or permit any other person to access the account;
  • (b) record, screen-capture, download, copy, reproduce, republish or redistribute any Subscription Content by any means;
  • (c) upload Subscription Content to any file-sharing service, messaging group, social platform or competing institution;
  • (d) use Subscription Content to deliver training to third parties or for any commercial purpose; or
  • (e) attempt to circumvent any access control or digital protection measure.
  • Breach of this clause constitutes a material breach and may result in immediate termination without refund, in addition to any other remedy available to the Company.

    13. Intellectual Property

All Subscription Content, including recordings, reference material, assessments, question banks, interview resources and the Platform itself, is and remains the exclusive property of the Company or its licensors. Trainers' recorded sessions are works made for the Company. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property right to the Subscriber.

    14. Third-Party Code Sets and Reference Materials

Medical code sets including ICD, CPT® and HCPCS are owned and published by their respective proprietors and are subject to those proprietors' own licence terms. The Company's reference library comprises the Company's own original training, guidance and summary material and does not constitute, replace or reproduce any official code set. Any book discount, reimbursement or allowance offered under a plan is a benefit toward the Subscriber's own purchase of officially licensed publications from authorised sellers, and the Subscriber remains responsible for obtaining and maintaining current official code books as required for their studies, certification or employment.

    15. Career Services — No Guarantee of Employment

Career guidance, placement support, employer referrals, resume reviews and mock interviews are advisory and preparatory services only. The Company does not guarantee employment, interview calls, any particular salary, or any specific outcome of any recruitment process. No statement made by any employee, trainer or counsellor of the Company shall be construed as a promise or guarantee of employment. Placement support is offered on a best-efforts basis and is subject to employer requirements over which the Company has no control.

    16. Assessments and Certification

Assessments, readiness scores and mock examinations provided on the Platform are the Company's own preparatory tools. They are not conducted by, endorsed by, or affiliated with any external certifying body, and a score, readiness percentage or certificate of completion issued by the Company does not constitute a professional certification or guarantee of success in any external certification examination.

    17. Service Availability and Modification

The Company will make reasonable efforts to keep the Platform available but does not warrant uninterrupted or error-free access. Scheduled maintenance, third-party outages and force majeure events may interrupt service. The Company may add, modify, substitute or withdraw individual features, benefits or content from any plan, provided that where a change materially reduces the benefits of a paid plan the Subscriber will be notified and may cancel and receive a pro-rata refund for the unused period.

    18. Suspension and Termination by the Company

The Company may suspend or terminate a subscription immediately, without refund, where the Subscriber breaches these Terms, shares or misuses credentials, distributes Subscription Content, engages in abusive or unlawful conduct toward staff or other students, or provides false information. The Company may also terminate a subscription on thirty (30) days' notice for any other reason, with a pro-rata refund of the unused period.

    19. Data Protection and Privacy

The Company collects and processes personal data, including assessment results, engagement data and contact details, in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law. Anonymised and aggregated performance data may be used to generate benchmarks, peer comparisons and service improvements. The Subscriber consents to receiving service communications relating to their subscription; marketing communications may be opted out of at any time.

    20. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company's total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with a subscription shall not exceed the total subscription fees paid by the Subscriber in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. The Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, including loss of employment, loss of opportunity, loss of income or loss of data.

    21. Indemnity

The Subscriber shall indemnify and hold harmless the Company against any claim, loss, liability or expense arising from the Subscriber's breach of these Terms, misuse of Subscription Content, or infringement of any third-party right.

    22. Force Majeure

Neither party shall be liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disaster, epidemic, war, civil unrest, government action, strike, internet or power failure, or third-party service outage.

    23. Amendments to These Terms

The Company may amend these Terms from time to time. Material amendments will be notified by email or through the Platform at least thirty (30) days before taking effect. Continued use of a subscription after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms.

    24. Severability and Waiver

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be severed and the remainder shall continue in full force. A failure by the Company to enforce any provision shall not constitute a waiver of that or any other provision.

    25. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India and the courts at Thanjavur shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising in connection with a subscription.

    26. Entire Agreement and Contact

These Terms, together with the plan schedule and the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between the Subscriber and the Company in relation to the subscription and supersede all prior representations. Queries may be addressed to medtechcareer64@gmail.com or +91 93637 28229.
